Flight Delay Compensation
EU Regulation 261/2004 has been written into UK law and from the 1st of Jan 2021 Residents of the UK have same rights to claim flight compensation for flight delays, cancellations and denied boarding as they did when the UK were members of the EU.
The only difference is that the claims are now paid in £’s rather than €’s.
When does the UK version of EC 261/2004 apply?
The UK vesion of the Regulations applies when your flight;
* Departed from the UK
* Arrived in the UK with a UK or EU airline
* Arrived in the EU with a UK airline.
How much compensation can you claim?
Flight distance Up to 1,500km £220 Per Person
Flight distance between 1,500km and 3,500km £350 Per Person
Flight distance Over 3,500km £520 Per Person

When can we help you claim?
Flight Delay
Your Flight must have been delayed more than three hours
Your flight departed from the UK or;
Your Flight arrived in the UK with a UK or EU airline or;
Your flight arrived in the EU with a UK airline.
The delay was not due to an “extraordinary circumstance.”

Your flight was due to depart from the UK or;
Your Flight was due to arrive in the UK with a UK or EU airline or;
Your flight was due to arrive in the EU with a UK airline.
Had confirmed reservation on the flight concerned and presented to check-in,

Your Flight must have been cancelled less than 14 days before it was scheduled
Your flight was due to depart from the UK or;
Your Flight was due to arrive in the UK with a UK or EU airline or;
Your flight was due to arrive in the EU with a UK airline.
The Cancellation was not due to an “extraordinary circumstance.”
