Ordinary Power of Attorney

What is an Ordinary Power of Attorney?

An Ordinary Power of Attorney gives someone you trust the power to deal with day to day tasks that you may be unable to do yourself if you cannot leave your home, such as;

  • Paying bills
  • Running bank accounts
  • Dealing with utility providers

Handling your affairs while in isolation

Due to the current issues surrounding COVID-19, you or one of your close friends or family may have to isolate for an extended period of time.

Therefore, you or the individual may be unable to complete specific tasks due to isolation.

We can complete an Ordinary Power of attorney very quickly, Whereas a Property and Financial Affairs Lasting Power of Attorney can take up to three months to be registered.

The Ordinary Power of Attorney can be cancelled when you no longer need it.
